It is hard to ignore that in our world and in our community, recent years have brought a lot of disruption, uncertainty, division, and heaviness into our lives and families. Sometimes, that can be too much to bear in our families, relationships, and on or own.
In response to this, we have been blessed to be able to once again offer counseling services here on the campus of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. We are home for the Charis Center for Christian Counseling. Our team of experienced Counselors, including Debbie Cox Schwalbe and Pastor Rob Goodwin, are here and available for seeing individuals and families on select days of the week.
In the Greek and Hebrew, the biblical term Charis (χάρις) refers to good will, loving kindness, and favour, in particular to God’s merciful grace. At the Charis Center for Christian Counseling, that is how we seek to care for each person and approach each situation -- with loving kindness and grace.
Through this ministry, we hope to connect people with the grace, care, and healing they may need right here within our community.

We operate on an income-based sliding scale to help support this ministry and the services it provides. Inquire with your Counselor about your per-session fee. We do understand that finances and the reason for counseling need are unique to each individual/family. More details are available from your Counselor.
